Jaw-Dropping What Brad Pitt Is Doing on American Indian Reservations

Brad Pitt has been partnering with Fort Peck, Montana Sioux and Assiniboine nation tribes to build 20 super green homes for residents whose income levels are at or below 60 percent the area’s mean income, with a percentage of the homes reserved for seniors and disabled veterans

One of the most popular actors in the world, Brad Pitt, known for roles in popular movies such as Fight Club, Seven, Troy and Seven Years in Tibet has been helping Native Americans in an extraordinary way that has been reported throughout the alternative media as “jaw-dropping” and for good reason.

According to the original report by Before It’s News, Brad Pitt’s foundation – Make It Right – has partnered with two Native American tribes in Fort Peck, Montana, to build affordable well designed “green: housing. They are specifically built for residents who’s income levels are at, or below, 60 percent of the area’s income, with a significant percentage of homes also reserved for seniors and the disabled.

For those who are not familiar with the “Make It Right” non profit organization, it actually made the news for building 109 sustainable homes in Louisiana after it was hit by Hurricane Katrina. Brad Pitt was also part of the crew that actually helped to physically build the homes.

Fort Peck, Montana is also in serious need of housing too. The Native people have a long history of oppression in the United States. Victims of the most brutal and under-reported genocide in history and almost an entire eradication of their personal culture through forced schooling and “education”, among other things, reports state that over 600 people are waiting for housing. Furthermore, reports suggest that three out of every four children live in poverty, and the abuse among the native people includes major problems with alcohol which give rise to other issues. Sadly, most of these troubles stem from Western encroachment in the past, including alcohol abuse.

So what do you guys think? Pretty cool, right?

Always great to see celebrities using their platform to do something positive and good. Pitt was also recently vocal about how the international bankers need to be held accountable for their crimes against society.
