Say Goodbye To Underarm Odor Forever With These 7 Effective Home Remedies!

Get rid of nasty underarm odor with stuff you've already got in your kitchen cupboard...

Stop Shaving

So I know for the ladies this is not much of an option, but the truth is, your hair helps prevent bacteria from accumulating. If you don't wanna cave man it though, there are still a bunch of other effective remedies you can try.

Apple Cider Vinegar and/or Lemon juice

Aside from Apple Cider Vinegar and lemons being excellent sources of nutrition for our inner wellbeing and health, they are also an excellent deterrent when used for unpleasant odor and underarm bacteria. (You can use them separately or together).

If you choose to use them separately, simply mix the water and ACV together (50/50) and apply a small amount. The same 50/50 rule applies with lemon juice. You can also use a lemon alone and just cut it open and scrub your arm pit.

If you use them together (which is more effective) simply use a small spray bottle (you can just mix it in a small bowl if need be) by taking one teaspoon lemon juice, one teaspoon apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of water. Apply very little and then additional if need be. This will kill the bacteria and rid you of the unpleasant smell.

Natural Soap

You can eliminate underarm odor by cleaning the whole body (armpits) with natural soap like hemp soap or Dr. Bronner's Fair Trade & Organic Castile Liquid Soap. These can be used on the entire body and are much more effective than traditional soaps.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is well known for getting rid of nasty odors in our laundry or fridge, along with so many other applications, but few people realize you can use it for underarm odor too.

Although you can use baking soda alone, for maximum results use cornstarch with it. Mixing these with water and applying just a little bit should do the trick and it will keep you smelling clean and fresh all day.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has been used for hundreds and hundreds of years for skin conditions. So it should come as no surprise that it is also effective at treating unpleasant odors and smells because it kills the bacteria. You can mix this with water and apply conservatively. You will find the unpleasant odor will vanish.

Hydrogen Peroxide

A great and simple way to eliminate underarm odor is through the use of hydrogen peroxide. Mix water with hydrogen peroxide and eliminate the odor. It's that simple.

Simply cut a slice of lime, squeeze it softly so the juice come out and then rub it onto your underarms. the lime juice kills up to 99% of bacteria and smells awesome.
