Google has been tracking "Smart" phone users everywhere they go for quite some time now, which is designated by a red dot on a personalized map for authorities to locate if necessary.
To help you understand what this means, remember the movie Minority Report, where Tom Cruise's character is on the run from the law, but he can't get away from them because everywhere he goes he is being tracked. That's exactly what this technology is.
But if you don't believe us, you can test it out for yourself. Just log in with the same account you would regularly use on your phone and then you'll be able to literally access records of everywhere you have been.

How To Disable Tracking & Erase Your History
First things first, you must check whether the location history feature is enabled on your account or not. To do this, go to the Google Maps Location history page and click the gear-icon button to access your history settings. From here you will be able to delete unwanted features.
