This is What the Ideal Woman’s Body Looks Like, According to Science

The perfect female body.

Does such a thing really exist? Scientifically, yes, it does.

If that’s not shocking enough, just wait till you see what the "perfect body" actually looks like. It's not anything that the industry would have you believe.

Researchers at the University of Texas claim that the perfect female body measures 1.68 meters in height and the bust/weight/hip measurements are 99-63-91.

If visualization is not your strong suit, the picture below is an actual physical representation of the "perfect body";

The 36 year old model pictured above is Kelly Brook from England.

Most people would refer to her as overweight or “plump,” and a model that is better fit for plus size modelling. That’s what talent scouts went ahead and said when Brook first tried to get into modelling.

According to scientists, however, Brook’s all-natural body is actually perfect in terms of physical attractiveness.

So why is physical attractiveness important?

The reason why physical attraction is important is because it signifies the most important of all human traits, that is scientifically speaking — fertility — After all, the most important function of any species is to ensure its survival and future.

Men are innately attracted to women who appear to be fertile, as well as youthful facial and body characteristics – like Kelly Brook’s.

So why all the skinny models, then?

According to Jennifer Lee, who formerly worked for world renowned designer Karl Lagerfield, the head of Chanel, that's because they are trying to sell clothes.

Fashion models are hired for their ability to highlight the structure and design of clothing they wear. And this is precisely why we see very few women in the industry who look anything like Kelly Brook.

Although thin supermodels certainly offer the best look on the runway, scientifically most men prefer a woman several times larger than them.

This study though, is rooted in the theory that reproduction is the highest calling of a human being. But this is absolutely debatable. And for that reason, the ideal body can never be relegated to one image because we live in a complex world, where there are complex minds. People appreciate and admire different things including the female form.
